The Seneca Hospital Auxiliary is a community organization that supports the hospital in all avenues. The Auxiliary also makes generous contributions to the hospital for the purchase of newer equipment. The Seneca Hospital Auxiliary provides care and comfort to patients and assists Seneca Healthcare District in promoting the health and welfare of the community. The Auxiliary also provides educational scholarships to those entering the healtchare field and those in the field continuing their education.
Each year the Auxiliary conducts a donation drive to community members asking for donations to support Seneca Healthcare District with needed equipment. There has always been an amazing and generous community response to our hospital’s needs.

As you have probably guessed, the color scheme for this gambling establishment was pink and it is geared towards women. Unfortunately, they have closed their doors in June 2015, but while they were with us they had some amazing bonuses and promotions to offer.
The Auxiliary facilitates two blood drives each year (in early June and late September) for Vitalant (formerly, United Blood Services of Reno. Pink Ladies do the advertising, scheduling, calling donors, providing refreshments, etc.
Pink Lady volunteers call Bingo twice weekly, visit residents and push wheelchairs (when needed) for out-of-facility activities. In addition the Auxiliary funds activities for the Skilled Nursing Facility residents each month.
Seneca Hospital Auxiliary assists the hospital with their Health Fair/Wellness Screenings which includes health screening, information, and education to the community.
Pink Ladies Bingo Schedule
This community flu clinic event occurs each October. Our Auxiliary assists in this collaboration between Seneca Healthcare District and Plumas County Health Department.
At the end of June each year, the Pink Ladies host a Game Day where the proceeds help fund scholarships. In addition to the games being played, participants enjoy lunch and can win baskets and other items through drawings
The Seneca Hospital Auxiliary meets on the second Wednesday of each month, March through November in the Lake Almanor Clinic Conference Room. The meetings begin with social time at 9:45 am and the business portion of the meeting begins at 10:00 am. Meetings are generally an hour. Every year, the Auxiliary asks the hospital for a “Wish List” of items that they need to help take patient care to the next level. Items such as Zoll Defibrillators, Portable Ultrasound System, Lab Coagulation System, Cardiac Telemetry, Bladder Scan, Patient Tables in the Doctor’s Offices, etc. have been provided by the Auxiliary in the past.
